At The Park

Across the park, a couple holds their newborn between them and tries to take a selfie.

I imagine almost everything about their life looks different now.

But tonight, they’re here—standing together in the evening light, their baby in their arms, taking a picture of this particular version of their life.

They’re soaking in the sunset—and, it seems, this season too.
